Got factions, how do i like link the account? - Guild Wars Forums

I bought factions and im wondering when i install it i use my same account.
And with this will i be able to swap characters, weapons and items between games? if so how?

If I remember it correctly, I didn´t need to install anything. I just logged onto GW and at the startup-screen, where you enter your keyword, and there is a button called add key, or something like that, you will know when you see it. Just click that button and you will be able to enter your factions key, and will get the question if you wanna merge your accounts or not.

Then, when you done that, you can travel to Cantha with your Tyrian characters. Just talk to Firstwatch Sergio in Lions Arch and he will give you a quest that takes you to Cantha. To travel to Tyria with Canthan characters you need to do a quest in Kaineng Center, don´t remeber who you get it from, but I think you get the quest just by following the storyline, not sure though.

To swap items between Tyrian characters and Canthan charcters just use the Xunlai Agent, as you do now.

As I said, when you add the factions key you will get the question if you want to merge your accounts or not..

At the log on screen click edit account then add key and follow from there.
